As well as having completed my degrees at the Academy of Interactive Entertainment, I have also worked with them. I have been employed at AIE Sydney from the year 2012, teaching a holiday course over the school holidays, and also travelled to various career and gaming expos throughout Sydney assisting in informing the public of how AIE can help them down their chosen career path.
I taught a class of 20 young students ‘Fundamentals of 3D & Animation’ over the school holiday period in October 2012. This included teaching the basics of modelling, texturing, animation and lighting in Autodesk Maya. I assisted with any queries from the students, and had them create a finished product to take home with them, as well as presenting each with a completion certificate.
